Historic Granville 2023 Christmas Opens entitled Christmas in a Hallmark Movie Town

The 2023 Christmas Season has opened in Historic Granville in a grand fashion with the theme of Christmas in a Hallmark Movie Town. The entire town is decorated like a Hallmark Movie with Christmas Characters on Parade decorating the streets in historic town.

Whether you are visiting during the day or at night you will be in awe at the decorations.  You will see decorations from times past as well as current times with movie characters featured. Granville is also having the 20th Annual Festival of Trees at Granville Museum with 25 beautiful, decorated trees of all styles.  The historic Sutton Home is decorated for Christmas tours with a theme of “Glitter and Glow of an Avon Christmas.  The home features Avon’s Christmas Dishes and other unexpected décor will “wow” you.

With beautiful, decorated trees in each room of the home. Granville features a Antique Show each year with this years entitled Toy Chests of our Past.  The show has been expanded to four different buildings with each era of history toys in different locations.

The town tour ticket features the 10 venues of Granville plus the above Christmas events.

Granville is also featuring Christmas Bluegrass Dinner Shows each Saturday night in December except December 23rd at Sutton General Store.  A great southern Christmas menu is featured with the best in Christmas Bluegrass music. The Mayberry Dinner

Theater will be on November 30, December 1,7 & 8 with limited seats remaining.  This year’s play is entitled “Mayberry Christmas Gifts”.

Granville will also be having the 25th annual Granville Country Christmas on December 9th entitled “Christmas Traditions in a Riverboat Town”.  This year’s event will feature Christmas Musicals, Craft Booths, Shopping, Town Tours, Children Events and Entertainment, Santa, and Christmas Parade at 3:00 p.m.

Sutton General Store is featuring a great Christmas menu with the town open Wednesday thru Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. For more information visit granvilletn.com or call 931-653-4151
