Jackson County Mayor Randy Heady joined community-elected chairperson Ava Stafford in proclaiming June as National Dairy Month. Stafford was chosen to serve the community by educating the public about the nutritional value of dairy products and promoting the dairy industry. She presented the proclamation to Mayor Heady requesting the designation.
