Reckless Driver Call Leads To Multiple Wrecks

When responding to a reckless driver call Deputy Miquela Sullivan discovered a man, David Graham, seemingly passed out in a parking lot with a strong smell of alcohol coming from the vehicle. 

When Sullivan awoke Graham, he became combative causing injuries to Sullivan, as Graham drove away at a high rate of speed. 

Graham was going south on Highway 56 and struck a work truck, which was on the side of the road with workers around near Gainesboro Grade. Graham then struck a car causing serious injuries to the people in said car.

Graham’s car then crashed into a yard and Graham fled on foot. Sullivan pursued Graham catching him and becoming entangled in a second physical altercation with Graham. Graham was then taken into custody with the help of Deputy Brock McQuiston. 

The Tennessee Highway Patrol was called to the scene and charged Graham with multiple criminal charges including, Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement officer, Felony Reckless Endangerment involving a Motor Vehicle and two counts of Resisting Arrest. 

Sullivan and the other victims were transported to Cookeville Regional Medical Center and two individuals were taken by life flight to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
