Tennessee's Food Waste Awareness Week is April 1 to April 14
The goal of Food Waste Awareness Week is to raise awareness about issues surrounding food waste and to encourage action to prevent food waste.
Items can be dropped off at the UT Extension-Jackson County office Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All items collected will benefit the New Hope Food pantry in Gainesboro.
